10 months after his death, George Michael is heading for a UK album number one this Friday.
Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1 was re-released last Friday with a bonus disc including George's 1996 MTV Unplugged session, and is currently topping the chart after midweek sales were revealed.
The album previously spent a single week at the top when it was released back in 1990.
It is currently outselling Niall Horan's solo debut LP by almost 25,000 copies after just three days, the Official Charts Company confirmed.
The release of the album coincided with the broadcast of the Channel 4 documentary Freedom, which charted George's career and in particular the recording of the LP.
The album contains hits including 'Freedom 90', 'Praying for Time' and 'They Won't Go When I Go'.
Meanwhile, George Michael fans are starting to campaign for Wham!'s iconic 'Last Christmas' to top the singles chart for Christmas. Could it happen?
