It's almost time for one of the biggest award ceremonies of the year – but who's performing at the Grammys? And when is the ceremony happening?

The 62nd Grammy Awards are taking place this weekend – and it's one of the most anticipated events in the music calendar.

The annual awards ceremony recognises the achievements of musicians across the industry with an award presented by The Recording Academy.

Alicia Keys will be returning for a second year to host the event – someone who is well acquainted with the awards, as she currently holds 15 of the gilded gramophones to her name.

Here's all you need to know about the event:

  1. When are the Grammys taking place?

The Grammys will be taking place on Sunday January 26 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

American viewers will be able to watch the ceremony live on CBS, but for people who don't have access to the channel, it will also be streamed across YouTubeTV and Hulu+ Live TV.

But don't worry – if you're not a subscriber to any of those platforms, other social media platforms will undoubtedly be filled with highlights throughout the evening.

  2. Who is performing at the Grammys?

The lineup for the Grammys is packed with big names from the music industry this year – and the list seems to keep on growing.

Taking to the stage during the ceremony this weekend will be Aerosmith, the recently announced No Time To Die singer Billie Eilish and Lizzo.
