Nile Rodgers To Receive IMS Legends Award

Nile Rodgers is to be honoured with the International Music Summit Legends Award.

Chic’s frontman Nile Rodgers will be awarded the accolade at the IMS Legends Dinner at Ibiza's Hard Rock Hotel on May 21.

IMS partner Ben Turner said: "Our love affair with Nile goes on, and we are delighted he will be accepting our IMS Legends Award at the now annual industry dinner.

"This event is becoming a major event on the electronic calendar and in the year that Nile took the top Grammy Awards with Daft Punk, this just feels like an extension of the incredible momentum year he and electronic music is having."

Rodgers and Chic were recently confirmed to headline this year's Bestival, where they are playing a Desert Island Disco-themed show to finish the four-day event.
