Pixie Lott has revealed plans to record a Motown album.

The singer said that work on her third studio album will begin soon and that she plans to fly to America to work with 'top Motown producers'.

"I'm going to be heading to New York to work with the guys who did the original Motown records in the '60s to make a new album soon," Lott said.

The new collection will serve as the follow-up to Lott's 2011 record Young Foolish Happy, which reached number 18 on the UK chart.

Now, it’s no secret that we’re big Motown fans – in fact, we dedicate two hours to the label every Saturday evening from 6pm with Dave Brown's Motown show – so we're intrigued by this. Who is Lott going to be working with? How will it sound? Only time will tell… in the meantime, we’ll keep listening to Dave!
