Queen Announce 2015 UK Arena Tour Dates

Queen and honorary frontman Adam Lambert are set to play seven UK dates early next year

Queen have announced a string of UK performances with honorary frontman Adam Lambert in January as part of their European tour.

The band will team up with the American vocalist once again to play seven dates across Britain beginning in Newcastle and ending in Nottingham.

Guitarist Brain May hinted at what fans can expect from the upcoming show on home soil.

"We have a very interesting set design. It's big and daring. We're going to do it to the max. Each time we've worked with Adam with our music, he's just the most incredible front man."

Former American Idol contestant Lambert has been standing in for the late Freddie Mercury since 2012 – a choice the band seem ecstatic with.

Roger Taylor added: "He's sensational. He has this amazing range, 'cause Freddie (Mercury) had a great range. Adam can really cover it. He's an extraordinary singer and a real talent. I feel he fits into our sort of theatricality. It is very comfortable.”

Glasgow Hydro - 14th January
London O2 Arena - 17th January
Leeds First Direct Arena - 20th January
Manchester Phones 4 U Arena - 21st January
Birmingham NIA - 23rd January
Nottingham Capital FM Arena - 24th January
