The West Midlands Fire Service spent an hour freeing a man who had shoved his head in a microwave full of cement.
Despite managing to feed an air tube into the man’s mouth, his friends were unable to free him, and after around an hour and a half contacted the emergency services.
The prank appears to have been the work of YouTube channel TGFbro, who have undertaken several similar stunts in the past (sitting in a bath of concrete, setting themselves in jelly etc).
The West Midlands Fire Service tweeted pictures of the incident, complete with a severe telling-off:

Watch Commander Shaun Dakin said: “All of the group involved were very apologetic, but this was clearly a call-out which might have prevented us from helping someone else in genuine, accidental need."
