It's all well and good having about 483 different takeaway services to choose from, let alone all the apps that mean we don't even have to get up from the sofa to order food.
But how many times have you received your order, only to find that the food has got a bit cold by the time you get your hands on it? Usually, it's the fries that get the worst of it.
Well, there's a new hack that means those days are gone. Well, that's if you can be bothered to at least drive to the restaurant to pick it up.
Twitter user Eric unveiled his genius hack for making sure your food stayed as fresh and hot as possible during its journey home.
I hope every person who ever thought I would fail sees this. pic.twitter.com/7iHJ3OfI4i— Eric (@canceric) December 3, 2017
His photo showed a McDonald's takeaway meal on the back seat of a car, and a second photo of his under seat heating on full blast. Solved.
Many fellow Twitter users and takeaway fans have praised Eric for his trick. One user said: "This is actually useful...Thank you my kind sir."
OK, it requires you to a) have a car, b) be able to drive and c) have under seat heating. But still, genius. You could always bring a hot water bottle with you if you don't have the latter?
