Simon Cowell Organising Charity Single To Benefit Grenfell Tower Fire Victims

The music mogul is hoping to use his position to help the victims of the devastating blaze.

Simon Cowell is planning to release a single to raise money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire and he says that it will be ready by Sunday (18th June).

Although no artists have as yet been confirmed, the 57-year-old said that had already been getting lots of calls from artists who would like to partake.

It's likely artists from his label Syco like Little Mix and James Arthur will be approached.

The 'X Factor' boss tweeted last night (15th June) that he was "heartbroken" after watching news coverage of the devastating blaze, and vowed to do something to help.

He tweeted: "I am watching the footage of the Grenfell Tower fire in London. Heartbreaking.

"We hope to confirm a record tomorrow which will raise some money for the many people affected by this tragedy. Making calls tonight."

Adele Pays Emotional Visit To Grenfell Tower To Offer Her Support

Pop stars Lily Allen and Paloma Faith were among the celebrities who visited the site earlier in the week, and Adele was also spotted at a vigil for those who tragically lost their lives in the blaze.

The 29-year-old singer was seen hugging and comforting those she met at the scene.
