It's the coincidence that’s a bit of a ‘Space Oddity’.
In a bizarre twist of fate, the astronaut Buzz Aldrin has been treated by a Dr. David Bowie at a New Zealand hospital.
The second man on the moon was recently evacuated from the South Pole after falling ill during an expedition.
Aldrin’s manager and mission control director Christina Korp, posted about the galactic coincidence on her Twitter account.
Thank heaven @TheRealBuzz's doctor is David Bowie. You can't make this stuff up. pic.twitter.com/jbqqZeWgx9

‘Space Oddity’ was Bowie’s first single to chart in the UK, and was released 5 days before the launch of the US Apollo 11 space mission.
We’re wishing Buzz a speedy recovery!
