The special concert was held near the star's birth place, in Brixton.

Gary Oldman, a close friend of Bowie, opened the star-filled concert last night at the O2 Academy in Brixton.

Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon performed, along with a host of others, celebrating the late singer's life.

The concert was held in aid of the Children And The Arts charity.

A new EP of the singer's final worked, titled 'No Plan', was joined by a music video of the album's title song.

Featuring four tracks including 'Lazarus', and three new songs, the EP was released on what would have been the icon's 70th birthday.
