We Surprise Rainbow House!

Global's Make Some Noise Smooth North West

Smooth Radio North West presents £46,000 cheque to Rainbow House on behalf of Global's Make Some Noise

This month our very own star of Smooth Breakfast, Darren Parks surprised the staff of Rainbow House with a cheque for £46,000 from Global’s Make Some Noise. Double the original target, thanks to Smooth listeners.

Rainbow House offers rehabilitation, education and fun for children, young people and adults with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, brain injury and genetic disorders.

This is now the second year running that Global’s Make Some Noise has been able to support Rainbow House, which does incredible work across the region. It's with the support of Smooth Radio listeners that Make Some Noise has been able to support their wonderful work, and can continue to support even more charities like this in the coming year.

Carol Cochrane CBE DL, chief executive at Rainbow House said: “This funding from Global’s Make Some Noise means we can make more miracles come true. It’s so amazing and I can’t tell you the difference this is going to make to the lives of everybody that’s connected to Rainbow House. We are very grateful to Smooth, Global and all their listeners for their generosity in supporting us.”

Here is the moment Darren presented the cheque.
