This year, there will be extraordinary performances, song writing workshops, interactive storytelling and a whole host of other exciting nature-inspired activities, including willow weaving! Relax and enjoy live music from a variety of local acts, or play the pollination game with our horticulturists. You can even get stuck in to conservation work with the zoo’s scientists.

Maddie Moate* from ‘Maddie’s Do You Know?’ and Springwatch ‘Wild Academy’ will also be sharing some fascinating facts about the wildlife that lives right on our doorsteps! Using her favourite special cameras and a box of recycled goodies, Maddie will reveal crafty ways you can get hands on with nature and help out our feathered friends, prickly pals and buzzing buddies!

Be sure to head over to Connections Corner and meet incredible wildlife experts and learn the skills you’d need to be a Chester Zoo Field Conservationist. Then visit the Activities Arena to take part in making bird feeders, bee houses and slime that you can take home!

Discover the extraordinary world of UK plants and animals that are right under your feet in this weekend full of nature-ific fun!
