RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.smoothradio.com/terms-conditions/ (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to Norwegian radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 3rd September 2019 to 16th September 2019 on Smooth London. (the “Radio Station”).
3. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
4. To enter the Competition an Entrant must Go online to smoothradio.com, complete the online destinations quiz, and register their details.
5. Online entry will open at 00:01 on 3rd September 2019 and close at 23:59 on 16th September 2019.
6. Entrants will then fill out their details as normal, to be in with the chance of winning a holiday to their chosen destination from the given options
7. One winner will be selected at random from all the eligible entrants, and will be contacted via telephone within 28 days of the competition closing date.
Eligibility:
8. Entrants must be 18 years or over to enter the competition
9. Entrants will need a valid passport to claim their prize
10. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
One Prize winner will win a Norwegian travel prize consisting of:
• 4 x return Norwegian Air flights from London Gatwick to the winner’s choice of following destinations: Miami, San Francisco, New York, Rio de Janeiro or Bueno Aires
• Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
• 5 night’s accommodation for 4 people, in a centrally located 4-star hotel
• Travel insurance
• ESTAs for four people where applicable
Prize Terms and Conditions:
13 Entrant must be 18 years or over, but other 3 people can be of any age.
14 For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to or from London Gatwick airport.
15 Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and excludes bank holidays, Valentine’s day/weekend/s and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms, Easter in both the UK and destination country, plus Rio Carnival. Must be booked at least 3 months in advance.
16 Prize includes return direct low fare economy flights with Norwegian Air, all flight taxes and surcharges as well as one piece of checked baggage per couple. An alternative Norwegian operated route will be chosen and offered should the chosen prize route cease to be operated by Norwegian. A Saturday night stay is a requirement of your ticket. Flights will be from London Gatwick. Please note, this may not be your closest airport. If you don’t hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy. Although please note the cost of a visa of this kind isn’t included in your prize.
General Terms and Conditions:
13 UK Passport holders travelling to the United States of America are required to have a valid ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) from the US Embassy. You can apply for this a minimum of 72 hours prior to travel although we recommend you apply as soon as your travel is confirmed. Please note that anyone without an ESTA will be deported from the US upon arrival without exception. It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the ESTA visa requirements of the US. Approval is at the discretion of the US Embassy and NDL Group cannot be held responsible for this being rejected. Should the winner purchase their ESTA through a third party rather than the official site, NDL will only reimburse the actual cost of the ESTA and not any of the fees involved. Conditions here
14 For the avoidance of doubt, transfers to the hotel/airport in the USA are not private and you may be sharing with other passengers. Transfers in Rio and Bueno Aires will be private and not shared with other passengers.
15 Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.
16 All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
17 Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
