British Airways – Orlando Competition – Smooth London, October 2018

RULES

The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.smoothradio.com/london/terms-conditions/ ) (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘British Airways – Orlando’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 19th  October 2018 on Smooth London (the “Radio Station”).
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message using the keyword given out on air, followed by either A or B as their answer to the question asked by the presenter on-air to the number given out. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.  The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will also be given out on air.
From all correct entries received on the day, one entrant will be selected at random and called by Smooth to come to air, give their answer to the question and be rewarded their prize. If they fail to answer the phone, they will forfeit the prize and another entrant will be randomly selected and called.
All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be excluded.

Also includes three course meal for two people at the La Luve restaurant on an evening of the winners choice.
One round of golf for two people at Waldorf Astoria Golf Club. Includes: 18 holes, cart, golf clubs and GPS.
50 minute spa treatment for two people at Waldolf Astoria Spa

Specific prize terms:

Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser, must be booked at least 3 months in advance and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays, Bank Holidays (both UK and USA) and July.
Flights and car hire will be provided by British Airways, subject to their terms and conditions.
Non-UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges.
Hotel is classed as a 5 Star and is based on two adults sharing 1 x two queen bed garden view room with en-suite bathroom on a room only basis. At least one guest must be over the age of 21.
Dinner is based on two adults enjoying a 3 course meal from the dinner menu including one glass of wine per person.
Golf experience includes 18 holes of golf for two people. Tee times must be booked in advance and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Includes cart, golf club hire, and GPS. Golf balls must be purchased separately and will be at the winner’s own expense.
Includes one 50 minute spa treatment per person. Choice of spa treatments include: Golden body treatment, Rose Hydrator, Coconut Lime Blossom Polish and any 50 minute massage or hand and foot therapy treatment, subject to change. Treatments are subject to availability at the time of booking. Some treatments may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions and will be substituted for a safe alternative should this be the case.
For all US trips, UK Passport holders must hold a valid ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) from the US Embassy, which can be applied for a minimum of 72 hours prior to travel. Anyone not holding an ESTA will be deported from the US upon arrival without exception. It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the ESTA visa requirements of the United States of America. Approval is at the discretion of the US Embassy and NDL Group cannot be held responsible for this being rejected. Should the winner purchase their ESTA through a third party rather than the official site, NDL will only reimburse the actual cost of the ESTA and not any of the fees involved.
Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply
All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
 
British Airways Specific Terms and Conditions
 
The prize: A pair (2 tickets) of return flights in World Traveller (Economy Class) valid on British Airways London Gatwick (LGW) to Orlando (MCO).
Flights can only be booked by emailing mary.george@ba.com quoting ref – “Global Radio Orlando”.
All seats are subject to availability. There is an allocation of prize-winner seats per flight, please be prepared to look at several dates in case the allocation is already used up on your preferred dates. School holidays are particularly busy.
We will do our very best to accommodate you on the dates you have selected but reserve the right to offer alternative dates.
Travel on British Airways codeshare and alliance partner airlines and franchises is not permitted.
Tickets are valid between 22 Oct 2018 to 21 Oct 2019 only and travel should be complete before 21 Oct 2019.
Reservation changes are not permitted after tickets have been confirmed and issued.
Tickets are not transferable, have no cash value and are not for resale.
Tickets are booked in World Traveller, upgrades are not permitted.   
Passengers must travel together.
It is the responsibility of the prize winners to organise any necessary visas, passports and insurance required for travel
Prize is for flights and accommodation only (based on bed & breakfast) and does not include transfers, car hire or ancillary expenses of any kind.
No organisers are eligible to win this prize.
On acceptance of this prize, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the above terms and conditions.

Prize does not include: Fuel, additional driver, additional special equipment (e.g. GPS, car seats, additional cover), young driver surcharge (applicable for drivers under 25 years of age), any fines or damage incurred when car is on rent to the prize winner, any other charges not mentioned in inclusions above
Age Restriction: Driver must be over 21 years of age with a full driving licence and no endorsements
Rental requirements: Renter must be in possession of a full, clean driving licence and a valid credit card in their name
