Bruno Tonioli will be taking a break from Strictly Come Dancing this week, which means it just won't feel the same.

The chair-dodging judge will not appear alongside Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell, but why?

Bruno is taking a one-week break from Strictly to film its US version, Dancing with the Stars, on which he is also a judge.

His seat will instead be filled by The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro, who has previously won the US show.

In 2017, Bruno also missed a weekend of filming on the UK series for the first time in 15 years. On that occasion, he was not replaced on the judging panel.

However, he will be back on Strictly for Halloween Week on October 27.
