Madonna was forced to cancel another show on her Madame X world tour, as she continues to fight and ongoing injury.
The legendary popstar gave her fans in Lisbon just 45 minutes notice that her show on Sunday night (January 19) was being cancelled.
"We regret to inform you that Madonna is unable to perform this evening," an email told ticketholders at 7.45pm, when she had been due on stage at 8.30pm.
"Sorry I had to cancel tonight," Madonna later wrote on Instagram, "but I must listen to my body and rest!"
This is the eighth time Madonna has cancelled a show on her current world tour, which sees her performing at smaller theatres as opposed to huge stadiums.
However, Madonna has not revealed what her injury is, but told an audience in San Francisco that she was suffering from a "torn ligament" and "a bad knee" in November.
Last week, the 61-year-old was seen wearing knee supports while rehearsing for another show in Lisbon.
"How an injured Madame X warms up for a show," she captioned the image. "Very carefully."
Madonna is due to arrive in the UK on January 27, followed by 15 shows at the London Palladium.
