Tina Turner's eldest son Craig Turner has been found dead, aged 59

Tina Turner's eldest son Craig Raymond Turner, has died in an apparent suicide at the age of 59.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed to Variety that Turner's son was found dead on Tuesday afternoon (June 3) at his home in California, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Craig was born in 1959, and was the child of Tina Turner and her boyfriend Raymond Hill, a saxophonist for the Kings of Rhythm Band.

It was through Hill that Tina would eventually meet her first husband, Ike Turner, who also adopted Craig.

Craig Turner worked as a real estate agent in the San Fernando Valley. He was reportedly a member of the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors.

He is survived by his father, his mother, and his biological half-brother, Ronnie.

Tina Turner has yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
