Adele and Skepta are said to be dating following the singer’s split from Simon Konecki, according to reports.

The Sun reports that both of the musicians from Tottenham have been on “regular dates” after Adele filed for divorce.

Adele, 31, celebrated the grime artist’s 37th birthday during a night out at the Crystal Maze experience in London less than two weeks ago.

A source told the paper: “Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up.

“They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection.

“They’re spending more and more time together. Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day.”

Adele has one son named Angelo who will turn seven this month, while Skepta, real name Joseph Junior Adenuga Jr, became a dad in November.

The source continued: “They are both private about their love lives and they are both committed to their children first and foremost as well.”

Skepta told ES Magazine in 2016: “Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check. She speaks to me about how things are going.”

While Adele and Skepta fans will be reading the tabloid claims about dating with a pinch of salt, in 2016, Adele posted a photo of Skepta on her social media with the caption: “Tottenham Boy”, alongside a heart emoji.

Skepta retweeted the post along with the reply: “Love you” and a red rose emoji.

The grime star went on to tell IBTimes UK: “She gassed me up [boosted my ego]. One day I was just chilling and she [tweeted] a picture that said ‘Tottenham boy’ and she’s from Tottenham as well.

“I was actually going to quit music that day, that was one of the sickest [best] things ever. She’s like the lady of Tottenham.”

A spokesperson for Adele told the paper: “No reply at this time,” while a representative for Skepta did not respond to the outlet’s requests for comment.
