The 'Perfect' singer is playing some venues close to his heart next year.

After a huge 2018 tour including four nights at Wembley Stadium, Ed Sheeran has announced four dates in 2019.

On August 16 and 17, he’ll play two shows at Leeds Roundhay Park, near to where the singer was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

He’ll then travel to Suffolk on August 23 and 24, for two shows at Ipswich’s Chantry Park – just half an hour from where he grew up in the town of Framlingham.

Tickets will go on sale from September 27 at 10am.

Ed Sheeran recently revealed that he hopes his next album movies in an “experimental” direction, with new music expected to arrive in some form next year.

He recently teased that he may have secretly married his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn.
