On Christmas Day 2016, we lost a truly fantastic artist and songwriter: the one and only George Michael.

A year on from his passing, Smooth Radio has celebrated George's life and career with a special one-off two-hour programme: You Have Been Loved: Remembering George Michael.

Margherita Taylor hosts the show, which looks back at George's amazing body of work, as well as playing some of his best loved hits.

Several guests also appear on the show, explaining just why George was not only a brilliant musician, but also a wonderful humanitarian and a loving friend. Robbie Williams, James Arthur and Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp are among the famous names who feature.

George himself also appears in the form of radio interviews he gave several years ago.
