End of an era (again).

Birds of a Feather won't be coming back for another series, after ITV confirmed that the sitcom has not been renewed.

Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph starred in the comedy, which originally aired on BBC One and ended its run in 1998. After 16 years, it was revived by ITV in 2014.

"We had success with Birds of a Feather, that was our most successful sitcom in years, but it's come to a sort of natural end," said executive producer Kevin Lygo (via The Mirror).

The reunion proved successful, and ran for three series as well as two Christmas specials.

Meanwhile, ITV has also cancelled Jack Dee's sitcom Bad Move, which premiered in 2017.

Jack Dee and Kerry Godliman starred as married couple Steve and Nicky in the show, who decide to relocate from the city to the countryside.

"We had two series of the Jack Dee sitcom but I don't think we’re continuing with it now. It’s just very, very hard," Lygo added.
