Police officer sings 'All You Need is Love' to care home residents in heartwarming video

A Derbyshire police officer was filmed in a heartwarming video singing 'All You Need is Love' to care home residents in Sandiacre.

PC John Aldred, part of the Safer Neighbourhood team, was visiting Longmoor Lodge Care Home to provide advice and re-assurance.

PC John decided to bring his guitar and played a few tunes for the residents.

Sergeant Sarah Carlile of Derbyshire Constabulary said: “We don’t often get to do ‘nice’ things in our job and I think this is a lovely example of a team which really care strongly about the vulnerable, hard to reach members of the community they serve.”

The Alzheimer's Society has even said that singing can improve brain activity, wellbeing and mood.
