Elton John Promotion on Smooth Network - November 2018
RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.smoothradio.com (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Elton John Promotion’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Thursday 15th November 2018 on Smooth Network (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message to the text number [‘Text Message Line’] given out on air [65588, with the keyword ELTON] by the presenter. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.
4. The presenter will play a pre-recorded clip of an Elton John song with one or more of the lyrics removed. If you can identify the missing word(s), you need to text in for the chance to win.
5. One entrant will be selected at random from all text entries received, called back and brought to air.
6. The Entrant selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated, and another Entrant selected at random.
7. If the Entrant correctly identifies the missing word(s), they will win. If not, we will randomly select another Entrant to play.
Eligibility:
8. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
9. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
10. One winner will win 1 pair of Elton John ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tickets at a date and UK venue of the winner’s choice. The prize will also include £1,000 in the form of either a cheque or BACS transfer.
11. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion. Global cannot be held responsible for the postponement/cancellation of any concert date.
