A newly-released clip shows Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in full pomp...

In the lead-up to the release of the highly anticipated film Bohemian Rhapsody, a clip from the film has been released showing the moment Freddie Mercury and Brian May created Queen's ultimate sing-along-song 'We Will Rock You'.

Here is everything you need to know about the Bohemian Rhapsody movie >

In the clip, Brian May - played by Gwilym Lee - pitches his idea to Freddie, played by Mr Robot actor Rami Malek, for a song.

Brian May is seen telling Freddie "I wanna give the audience a song they can perform" as they devise the song's iconic stomp-stomp-clap rhythm.

"What's the lyric?" Mercury asks.

The clip finishes with Queen playing the hit to a mass crowd clapping and singing along to the music. And the rest is history...

The movie will be released in UK cinemas on October 24, 2018.
