Robbie Williams has excited his fans by revealing he's recording new music of some description.
The former Take That star posted a photo of himself about to lay down some vocals in a recording studio, but didn't reveal any further information.
This has now added to speculation that he's not only recording a new album, but perhaps his first ever Christmas album.

Earlier this year, various reports emerged that Robbie was planning a festive compilation, to be released for the Christmas season in 2019.
However, Robbie has yet to confirm or deny the rumours.
While Robbie scored a Christmas number one in 2001 with his Nicole Kidman duet 'Somethin' Stupid', he has never actually officially recorded any Christmas music, aside from B-sides or live performances.

"Robbie has been working hard on the album and has already written more than 30 songs," a source had previously told the Daily Star. "An exact release date hasn't been set yet but it's likely to be in the autumn."
Robbie's previous studio album was 2016's Heavy Entertainment Show, and he has since released two Under the Radar rarities compilations.
Last year, he joined the judging panel of The X Factor alongside wife Ayda Field, but they will not be returning in 2019.
