Tina Turner has released a remix of her number one single 'What's Love Got To Do With It.'
Tina's number one hit - first released in 1984 - has been remixed by Kygo.
It's been years since Tina Turner last toured or released any music, but the 80-year-old singer has come out of music retirement for a collaboration with the DJ.
The pair have teamed up for a remix of Turner's iconic 1984 tune ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?' and have released a new music video to accompany the song (below).
The hit reached number one when it was first released in 1984, becoming Turner’s first and only solo to top the US charts.
The music producer announced the exciting news via his social media on Tuesday (July 14), telling followers that the song is one of his all-time favourites.
"It feels surreal to get the opportunity to work with such a legendary artist!" he added. "Can't wait for you all to hear it."
The 'Proud Mary' star last toured in 2008 with her Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour.
In 2019, Kygo released a cover of 'Higher Love' by Whitney Houston which reached number two in the UK singles chart.
The song became became the late singer's first posthumous hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
