Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi has released his first new solo music in a decade with his brand new single called 'Exhale'.

The new song comes with its own artistic music video, a follow-up to his acclaimed 2010 solo debut ‘Go’.

Taking to social media, Jónsi posted: "Finally my first single Exhale is out.

"I'm so grateful to all the people who helped me get there.

"Thank you. Also wanted to remind everybody to 'Breathe in and Breathe out' and remember 'It's just the way it is, it isn't your fault, just let it go now'."

The tune has been co-produced by PC Music’s A.G. Cook, and sees Jónsi singing about "letting go and drifting off in the face of inevitable adversity".
