What is Danny Tetley's age and has he appeared on TV before?

Danny Tetley is 37 years-old, and hails from Bradford, Yorkshire.
He previously made it to the final 50 in the first Pop Idol series back in 2001, but didn't make it to the live shows. He also auditioned for Popstars: The Rivals a year later.
Danny was born with a cleft palate, and later moved to Benidorm where he became a professional singer and teacher, and even had a cameo in the show of the same name.

How has he performed on The X Factor so far?
Danny Tetley delivers the performance of a lifetime | Judges' Houses | The X Factor UK 2018
Danny impressed the judges enough to make it to the Judges' Houses stage of the 2018 competition, and was later selected by Ayda Field for her Overs category.
He was then voted into the second week after singing Mariah Carey's 'Hero'.
