Reality TV star Dr Alex George is trading in his stethoscope for a frying pan - as he's a confirmed Celebrity Masterchef 2019 contestant.
Former Love Island star Dr Alex George is no stranger to reality TV, but his latest venture will test his culinary skills.
Hoping to make it further than he did in the Majorca villa, Alex will be going up against the likes of Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison, Strictly's Oti Mabuse and TOWIE's Joey Essex in the latest series of Celebrity Masterchef.
Here's the lowdown on the telly doctor...
Dr Alex is an A&E doctor who made his reality TV debut on hit ITV2 show, Love Island.
Currently working at the University Hospital Lewisham in East London, the handsome 27-year-old went on to cover for Dr Hilary Jones on Good Morning Britain as their Health Editor. He also gave medical advice on This Morning, alongside Dr Chris Steele.
Alex, who is originally from Carmarthen, Wales, studied medicine at Exeter University.
The celebrity doctor was a contestant on the 2018 series of Love Island.
During his stay in the villa, he struggled cracking on with the ladies, and was regularly given dating tips and advice from the other lads on how to lay it on factor 50.
Eventually, Dr Alex coupled up with brunette beauty, Alexandra Cane.
His behaviour towards her later on, though, caused uproar among Love Island fans - and Cane's mother.
It's been rumoured that Dr Alex is dating Olympic snowboarder, Aimee Fuller.
Reports circulated after the doctor was spotted with Aimee at the Davis Cup in Glasgow, where they watched a spot of tennis.
