Love Island 2019 has officially landed - bringing with it a new line-up and an abundance of dodgy fake tans. But who is Curtis Pritchard? Let's find out...

Love Island host Caroline Flack introduced viewers of the hit ITV2 show to this year's line-up - at first welcoming the girls, then bringing out the boys one by one.

And just when we thought we'd met everyone in the 2019 cast, the Islanders received a bombshell text informing them they were about to meet two new lads: Tommy Fury (brother of heavyweight champion, Tyson) and Curtis Pritchard.

As his name suggests, Curtis, too, has a connection to a well-known TV personality - none other than Strictly Come Dancing star, AJ.

So, without further ado, let's take a closer look at Curtis and how he's related to AJ...

Who is Love Island's Curtis Pritchard?

Like his brother, AJ, 23-year-old Curtis is a professional latin and ballroom dancer from Shropshire.

Ahead of entering Love Island, Curtis said he's hoping to win over both the girls and the lads in the villa by being himself and not acting up to the camera.

Pritchard added in his interview that he's had a pretty sheltered life and isn't much of a party animal - mainly down to his career as a dancer.

Here's hoping his discipline and focus will get him to the Love Island final!

What is Curtis' Instagram handle?

Should you wish to stay up-to-date with the latest gossip and news about the Love Island hunk, you can follow him on Instagram at @curtispritchard12.

Before entering the villa, Curtis already had a sizeable following on the 'Gram - standing at 74.2k followers. But as the competition progresses, no doubt this will increase dramatically.

What type of girl does Curtis consider his type?

Unlike most of fellow Islanders, Curtis claims he doesn't really have a set type. Instead, he is a firm believer in love at first sight.

Of relationships and love, Curtis said: "This sounds really clichéd but love is blind and I truly do believe that. I like blondes and an athletic body, not too fake and somebody that respects themselves.

"But if the complete opposite comes in and I fall madly in love with them then I’ve completely lied to you. Love is blind."

Curtis did reveal, however, that he's had celeb crushes on actresses Megan Fox and Mila Kunis, as well as singing sensation, Ariana Grande.

When is Love Island on TV?

You can watch Love Island most nights on ITV2 from 9pm.

Most episodes last just over an hour, and will be available on ITVHub after the show, should you miss any of the action.

The show will not be on on Saturdays, but there will be a behind-the-scenes segment on for all those superfans out there.

Every Sunday, there will also be the Aftersun show immediately after the main event, which dissects the week's action and includes commentary from celebrity guests.
