Love Island may be known for its brutal recouplings, repetitive catchphrases and dodgy spray tans, but it's also known for its cracking soundtrack. It is what it is.

We wouldn't be surprised if during every episode you're frantically reaching out for your phone to load up Shazam and find out what that catchy tune was.

And we find more often than not, it's usually an amazing cover version of a familiar song that we're impressed by.

Who is Maisie Peters? The 19-year-old singer-songwriter you've heard on Love Island

On last night's (June 11) episode of the ITV2 reality series, there was just such an example: a cover of En Vogue's classic R&B power ballad 'Don't Let Go (Love)'.

The song aired during a slightly awkward scene between Michael and Amber, when he laid it on Factor 50-style and got pied off in the process. Watch the clip above.

But who sang the cover?

The song was performed by Lusaint, and she has retitled the track 'More Than Friends (Acoustic)'. You can hear the song below:

Lusaint is a young singer from Manchester, who also has several tracks available to stream on Soundcloud and Facebook.

Her debut EP, Beside The Piano, Vol. 1, is also available to listen on Spotify.
