The Chase viewers are convinced winning team shouldn't have won for this answer
Was The Chaser robbed?
On yesterday's show (January 15), players Jack, Richie and Sandie overcame The Vixen Jenny Ryan in the final Chase, to win a grand prize of £17,000.
Surely that's something to celebrate? Not for some viewers.
Some fans claimed that because Sandie, a 64-year-old grandmother from Glasgow, appeared to call Princess Diana, ‘Princess Diane’, they shouldn't have won.
Host Bradley Walsh asked: ‘Which royal woman was nicknamed Lady Di?’, leading to some confusion among viewers.
#thechase The team shouldn't have won because the lady got the princess di question wrong.

There's no pleasing some people, is there? Oh well, we'll celebrate for you, Sandie!
