Disney's Dumbo: Trailer, cast, soundtrack, release date and all you need to know about the remake

Disney are bringing out a live-action remake of the classic animation Dumbo.

Disney is bringing out an impressive list of iconic film remakes in 2019, with Dumbo amongst the favourites.

Here is everything you need to know about the movie, including cast, release date, trailer and soundtrack.

  1. Dumbo remake release date: when will it be released in the UK?

    Dumbo will be released on March 29, 2019, so there isn't long to go before we can see this in the cinema.

  2. Dumbo soundtrack: Will it include the original Disney music and songs?

    We know that one of the original songs from the 1941 Dumbo animation, 'Baby Mine', appears in the trailer for the 2019 remake.

    It is sung by Aurora, who also recorded 'Half The World Away' for the 2015 'The Man on the Moon' John Lewis Christmas Advert.

    There currently isn't any further information out on the film's soundtrack and who will perform on it.

    The film has a star-studded cast; Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito and Michael Keaton among them.

  5. Who will direct Dumbo?

    It was announced in March 2015 that Tim Burton would direct the Disney remake of Dumbo.

    Burton's trademark dark take on his films looks to be present in the trailer, but we'll have to wait until March to see the finished product.
