Two legends collide...
Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance at Billy Joel's concert in New York last night (July 18).
The 'Piano Man' celebrated his 100th show at the iconic Madison Square Garden, and he introduced The Boss to the gleeful fans in attendance.
Billy also told the crowd of his enduring friendship with Bruce. He said: “We go back a long way. We were both on the same record label and got dumped by the same label.
“We go way back. This is an Oscar winner, a Grammy winner and Tony Award winner! Please welcome Bruce Springsteen”.
The pair then sang Bruce's ‘Tenth Avenue Freeze Out’, before playing the classic ‘Born To Run’.
69-year-old Billy became a father to his second child with fourth wife Alexis Roderick in October last year.
