The Queen and the Duchess of Sussex have arrived in Cheshire for their first royal event together.
The monarch was joined by Meghan Markle to officially open the Mersey Gateway Bridge and Chester's Storyhouse Theatre today (June 14).
They will then head to a lunch at Chester Town Hall, as guests of the city council.
This is the first time Meghan has attended an event with the Queen, without husband Prince Harry.
Thousands of people headed to the venues several hours before the Queen and duchess arrived.
During their visit, the royal pair will meet with architects, planners and community representatives, and watch a performance from local schoolchildren. The Queen will also unveil a plaque to mark the opening.
The Queen and Meghan will also travel to Chester, where they will be given a tour of Storyhouse Theatre.
