Listen to Taron Egerton sing 'Rocketman' from the Elton John biopic soundtrack

Taron Egerton has released his first single from the upcoming Rocketman movie soundtrack, and it's rather wonderful.

The Elton John biopic Rocketman is released on May 22, and stars Taron Egerton as the artist formerly known as Reg Dwight.

However, unlike (most of) Bohemian Rhapsody, the lead actor actually sings in the film.

The first full song from the soundtrack has now been released, and you can hear Taron's version of 'Rocket Man' below:

Taron Egerton’s 'Rocket Man' will appear on the official Rocketman soundtrack, which comes out May 24 via Interscope Records.

Rocketman is centred around Elton John’s life "from his years as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music through his influential and enduring musical partnership with Bernie Taupin", according to the film's synopsis.

It also stars Jamie Bell as Taupin, Richard Madden as John Reid, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton's mother.
