Westlife's Mark Feehily welcomes a baby girl with fiancé Cailean O’Neill

Mark Feehily has shared a sweet photo after becoming a dad for the first time.
The Westlife star has welcomed a baby daughter with his fiancé Cailean O’Neill, and announced the news on Instagram by posting a photo from the hospital ward.
The lovely photo saw 39-year-old Mark and his partner holding the trolley where their baby Layla was lying down in blankets.
Mark wrote: "Baby Layla born safe & sound @ 7.27pm on October 1st 2019! We’re the happiest Dads in the world!"
The singer announced that he and Cailean were going to be fathers on his birthday back in May, writing on Instagram: "Thanks for all the Birthday wishes everyone! It makes this my most special birthday EVER to let everyone know that later this year we will become Dads for the first time.
"This is the proudest moment of our lives and we are beyond excited to say it out loud! M&Cx.’
He later confirmed that he and Cailean were expecting a girl, telling fans at a concert in Dublin’s Croke Park that he couldn’t wait to see his daughter grow up in Ireland.
Mark proposed to Cailean in February during a romantic holiday in the Maldives, although his fans didn’t know his partner’s identity at the time.
Mark and Cailean are thought to have been together since 2013. The couple live in Sligo.
Westlife recently announced plans to play their biggest ever show at Wembley in 2020, and will release their 11th album Spectrum in November.
