It was only a matter of time, but Britain's Got Talent is getting a champions of champions series.

After 13 series, the ITV talent show is having a 'Greatest Hits' of sorts, by bringing together some of the winners and other memorable stars from the show's history to battle it out to be crowned the ultimate star.

During the 2019 final, it was confirmed that Susan Boyle, arguably the most famous BGT star, will take part. But who will join her?

  1. When is BGT: The Champions going to air?

It has yet to be confirmed when the series will air, but it is definitely going to be screened on ITV later this year.

How this will fit alongside The X Factor - which is also rumoured to be getting its own 'champions' series - is yet to be revealed.

  2. Who is taking part?

So far, only Susan Boyle has been confirmed.

Susan recently took part in America's Got Talent: The Champions, reaching the live final.

Ant & Dec also revealed that the series will feature stars from other Got Talent shows from around the world, so it won't just be BGT stars taking part.

    Other contenders:

    - Paul Potts (series 1 winner, also reached the AGT: Champions final)

    - Shin Lim (the reigning AGT winner and also the winner of AGT: The Champions)

    - Ashleigh and Sully (series 6 winner with Pudsey, took part in AGT: The Champions)

    - Lost Voice Guy (series 12 winner, took part in AGT: The Champions)

    - Tokio Myers (series 11 winner, took part in AGT: The Champions)

    - Colin Thackery (series 13 winner)

    - Stavros Flatley (series 3 finalists, they also pop up when they get the chance!)

    - Diversity (series 3 winners, often perform on BGT)

    - Richard Jones (series 10 winner)

    - Connie Talbot (series 1 runner-up)

    - Ronan Parke (series 5 runner-up)

    - Signature (series 2 runner-up)

    - George Sampson (series 2 winner)

    - Jai McDowall (series 5 winner)

    - Jonathan and Charlotte (series 6 runner-up)

    - Paul Zerdin (British ventriloquist, won AGT series 10)

    - Kseniya Simonova (sand artist, won Ukraine's Got Talent, third place in AGT: The Champions)

    - Deadly Games (knife throwers, from France's Got Talent, took part in AGT: The Champions)

    - Attraction (won series 7, took part in AGT: The Champions)

  3. Who are the judges and who will host?

While there hasn't been any official announcement yet, we can be pretty darn sure that Ant & Dec will host the series.

Not only that, but we'd be very surprised if the judges aren't Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.

However, with Alesha Dixon now heavily pregnant, she may decide not to appear depending on the timings.
