Britain's Got Talent The Champions: Who is taking part and when is it on?

It was only a matter of time, but Britain's Got Talent is getting a champions of champions series.

After 13 series, the ITV talent show is having a 'Greatest Hits' of sorts, by bringing together some of the winners and other memorable stars from the show's history to battle it out to be crowned the ultimate star.

During the 2019 final, it was confirmed that Susan Boyle, arguably the most famous BGT star, will take part. However, she has since dropped out, but who will actually appear?

  1. When is BGT: The Champions going to air?

    ITV has confirmed that the show will begin on Saturday, August 31.

    The series will run for six weeks in total. Watch the trailer at the top of the page for a glimpse of what is to come.

  2. Who is taking part?

    Ant & Dec first revealed on the BGT 2019 final that the series will feature stars from other Got Talent shows from around the world, so it won't just be BGT stars taking part.

    Confirmed stars to appear so far are:

    - Paul Potts (series 1 winner, also reached the AGT: Champions final)

    - Ashleigh and Sully (series 6 winner with Pudsey, took part in AGT: The Champions)

    - Lost Voice Guy (series 12 winner, took part in AGT: The Champions)

    - Colin Thackery (series 13 winner)

    - Stavros Flatley (series 3 finalists, they also pop up when they get the chance!)

    - Richard Jones (series 10 winner)

    - George Sampson (series 2 winner)

    - Jai McDowall (series 5 winner)

    - Paul Zerdin (British ventriloquist, won AGT series 10)

    - Kseniya Simonova (sand artist, won Ukraine's Got Talent, third place in AGT: The Champions)

    - Jack Carroll, comedian (series 7 finalist)

    - Ben Hart (series 13 third place)

  3. Who are the judges and who will host?

    It has now been confirmed that all the usual faces will return for the series.

    As ever, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon are all back, alongside hosts Ant & Dec.
